I am a trained Special Education Parent Advocate through the Federation for Children with Special Needs.
I take cases throughout Massachusetts to help families navigate the special education system.
I have my Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling/Expressive Therapy and have been working in the special education field for several years, in many different roles. Some of those roles include a school psychologist, inclusion facilitator, child/family therapist, behavior specialist, home based autism therapist and a learning disability specialist. I have had the opportunity to work in both public and private schools with students from diverse backgrounds, ranging in ages 3-22 years.
I am an adoptive parent of a now 16 year- old son, who has Autism, Bipolar Disorder and learning disabilities.
